Summer Session I

Free, online tutoring for pre-algebra, algebra, pre-calculus, calculus I, and introduction to statistics is available through our STAR-NY service.  

Our peer tutoring service for additional courses will begin again in the fall. 

ASTC Core Services

Course-Based Tutoring

The ASTC offers undergraduate students FREE one-on-one and small group tutoring appointments for various courses. In-person and online drop-in tutoring is also available for a variety of courses.Learn More(Course-Based Tutoring)

Skill-Based Tutoring

This service gives students the opportunity to work one-on-one with a tutor to develop and enhance their academic success strategies in areas such as time management, study behaviors, using evidence-based learning strategies, goal setting, and using campus resources.Learn More(Skill-Based Tutoring)

Peer Assisted Learning

Our PAL leaders create an informal, relaxed environment where students are challenged to work through course related problems together and share study strategies. Currently, the ASTC offers PAL for MAP 103, MAT 123, MAT 125, MAT 126, & CHE 132.Learn More(Peer Assisted Learning)

Success Navigator Program
